Born in 1984 in the Monterey Bay Area of Northern California, Trevor Christiansen was continually encouraged to draw throughout his youth. Connections to great instructors and peers as well as creating with many art forms allowed him to enhance his skills throughout high school, and college. Trevor developed an affection for oil painting from life during his undergraduate studies at Laguna College of Art and Design, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting in 2011. His interests in oil painting led him to find inspiration in landscape, figure, portrait, and still life painting. In 2016 Trevor graduated Laguna College of Art and Design with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting.

Trevor's art-related travels have included Italy, and France, where

he learned from great masters of the past, and present. Trevor is

currently working on his body of work of landscapes, portraits, as well as disaster drawings, and paintings. He also works on painting commission whenever the opportunity arises. Among the great exhibitions that Trevor has taken part in, he had the wonderful opportunity to exhibit his oil paintings at The Festival of the Arts in Laguna Beach, CA during summer 2016, and again in 2017. Trevor received a scholarship for academic success from Laguna College of Art and Design in 2013, and another from the Pacific Art Foundation in 2015. Trevor hopes to share his vision with many as he exhibits his work, and continues his studies in painting, drawing, art history, and art instruction.
